Hi there, my name is Jodi and I have waaaaaay too much time on my hands. One of my favorite things to do is find a great show and marathon it. TO do that you have to have at least one season in the bag, and sometimes whole series.
I also love revisiting some of my favorites. Thanks to dvd and Netflix this is relatively easy, and I wanna do it with you. I will watch either past seasons or whole series and post on individual episodes, season arcs, and series as a whole here. If you would like to join in that’s great. I will try to post places you can watch what I am watching, or if it isn’t available streaming where you can find the dvd’s.
You can expect lots of different offerings, and I take requests. Finished series you will for certain see on here? Lost, Buffy, Angel, Firefly, Veronica Mars, and Legend of the Seeker for starters. I may go really crazy and do Xena! Current series you will get? Mad Men, Vampire Diaries, The Walking Dead, Downton Abbey, True Blood, Once Upon a Time, Game of Thrones, and maybe even Glee. Beware though, I am not a huge fan of everything I will cover.
Okay, so I am a big fan of certain genre, and certain collaborators. If you are looking for a CSI or law and order girl you will need to look elsewhere. I have watched, and loved, many of those types of shows, but own not one, and none are in my Netflix currently either. Law and Order also has a gazillion episodes and I am just not in love with it enough to commit that much time and energy to it . I will devote that much time to Joss Whedon though, because he is my favorite. In fact when I do Firefly there will be a Serenity post, and I will probably pull Dr. Horrible in as well. Also, Avengers anyone? Hell yes!
Speaking of Dr. Horrible, I will certainly be doing The Guild as well. Any other web series suggestions are welcome.
So, whether you are a first time watcher, or just want to have someone to rewatch a favorite with, you are welcome here. Well, as long as you have a good sense of humor
I thought long and hard on where to start. Do we jump right into the awesome craziness that is Lost, or do we start with my all time favorite, Buffy? Should I go with a current tv show to catch interest or go with something way out in left field.
Actually, I think I will start with Firefly. It is only 14 episodes long, one of my favorites, and they are doing a 10 year reunion this next week at Comic Con so it seems like a good time. Stay tuned, next up is my post on the pilot, Serenity.
